Some are based upon mere opinions, stereotypes, and cultural traditions handed down from generation to generation. Other &#8220;theologies&#8221; are based upon isolated passages of scripture written to solve specific, immediate problems which had arisen within particular and unique historical communities. A comprehensive theology must be based upon God&#8217;s heart purposes and intentions as illustrated by His plan for humankind, the Spirit&#8217;s activity, and Christ&#8217;s example. Such a theology should address each of the issues included in the outline which follows.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>I.\u00a0 G<\/strong><strong>OD&#8217;S INTENTIONS FOR HUMANKIND<br \/>\n<\/strong>A.
